Take a Breath
Friday, March 13 from 12:15pm to 2:15pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church
Breathing happens even when we are not paying attention, but learning to use the breath in different ways can help us improve our physical and mental energy - using tools to help relax, clear your mind, improve endurance, and even affect your balance.
Join this 2 hour workshop to learn how you can harness the power of your breath. Class will include some discussion, breath & movement practice, and guided meditation.
Fee for this class is $50. Yoga Alliance CEUs available.

Yoga for Low Back
Friday, April 10 from 12:15pm to 2:15pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church
Yoga movements can be adapted to best serve your body. This workshop will focus on how to use yoga asana to build strength, stability, and flexibility in the low back as well as useful ways to adapt common postures to allow for low back issues. Class will include some lecture, discussion, and guided practice (including props for both seated and floor movements). Participants are encouraged to bring note-taking materials, a practice mat, and wear comfortable clothing for movement.
Fee for this class is $50. Yoga Alliance CEUs available.

Yoga for Hip Strength & Mobility
Friday, May 8 from 12:15pm to 2:15pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church
This workshop will focus on how to use yoga asana to build strength, stability, and flexibility in the hips. Discussion of how to build stability in the hips as well as processes for gently improving hip mobility. Class will include some lecture, discussion, and guided practice (including props for both seated and floor movements).
Pre-registration is required for this workshop. Fee is $50. Yoga Alliance CEUs are available.
