Yoga Teacher Training 2026
Yoga has been a path for self-exploration and evolution For thousands of years. More than just moving your body through various asana, the teachings of yoga have offered a template to self-understanding. This 200-hour teacher training program is designed to use the tools of yoga (movement, breath, meditation, and philosophy) to guide you in a deep journey into knowing yourself AND provide you with a Yoga Alliance certification for teaching.

Kim Allen has a doctorate in health education, is a certified Yoga Therapist and Yoga teacher with 500+ hours of training. She has been teaching group yoga since 1997 and has enjoyed leading yoga teacher trainings since 2017. She is an innate sharer of information and loves guiding others toward their own skills/interests.
Krista Wright is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music. She has been teaching intermediate and restorative yoga since 2018. She has a love for the connection between spirituality and movement and for empowering students to find that connection in their own lives.

This is an intense training, designed to be completed between August 3-November 16, 2026. The program will include:
Weekly group classes on Mondays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Each Monday class will include theme discussion, guided practice, and reflection.
Monthly group meetings on the 2nd Friday 11:00am-3:30pm and Saturday 11:00am-3:30pm of each month. These meetings include sharing of information, group discussion, guided practice, and teaching time.
Homework (to be completed outside of group meetings) will include daily personal practice journaling, 4 hours of observation of lead teachers, 4 hours of recorded practice teaching, 4 online training modules, and supplemental readings.

This training program is designed to focus on personal development while giving you the tools to teach others with 200-hours of training.
Scheduling for this program is designed for those who want to complete training in 3.5 months. Training times are weekly Mondays 1-3pm and once/month Friday & Saturdays 11am-3:30pm to allow participants time for other evening and weekend commitments.
Training is a combination of group meetings to develop community, self-study “homework” to apply teachings, and online training modules to share concept details. (Check out this FREE training to get a peek at these.)
