Yoga movements can be adapted to best serve your body. This workshop will focus on how to use yoga asana to build strength, stability, and flexibility in the low back as well as useful ways to adapt common postures to allow for low back issues.
*EVERY CLASS IS DIFFERENT - new information is always being added, so join in if you are interested in learning more about how to create stability and mobility for your low back.
Class will include some lecture, discussion, and guided practice (including props for both seated and floor movements). Participants are encouraged to bring note-taking materials, a practice mat, and wear comfortable clothing for movement.
This workshop is designed for anyone working with low back issues for themselves or students/clients. Yoga Alliance CEUs are available. Fee is $50 for the 2-hour workshop. Pre-registration is required.
