VIRTUAL Strength Training 101
Have you heard that weight-bearing activity/strength training can help you build muscle and bone? Are you nervous about lifting weights on your own, or not sure where to start? Learn basic strength training exercises in a safe space! All body types and abilities are welcome. Preregistration is required using the link below.
Monday, September 29 from 11am to 12pm- Total Body
Each class will include step-by-step instructions on movements for the target area. Every move will be "scaled" to suit your current ability - this means that every move will include adaptations to be more or less intense based on where you are now. Movements will use body weight and very light weight (think small water bottles ) or resistance bands. Use what you have available at home.
This class is designed to help build stability and strength in your body. No need to push through pain. Work within the ability of your body - especially important as you are working at home vs. in the room with instructor.
